Anita Braun, Cripple Creek Today Creator, Webmaster and Author
My name is Anita Braun; if you’re a local, you likely know me. I have a few years under my belt as a writer and journalist. (I love to write and educate and that is my personal goal with this blog.)
My husband, Tim, and I owned the Gold Camp Journal, (among other enterprises), until 2007 when we sold it. Tim started The Gold Camp Journal in 1993 and wrote, edited and published most of it for quite awhile before hiring a reporter to help him out. From 2005 to 2007 I wrote numerous articles for our paper and a few editorials.
Before I forget to mention it, my husband and I own The Hitchin’ Post Gift Shoppe at 333 East Bennett Avenue in Cripple Creek, right next to City Hall. Stop in and say hello, we’d like to meet you!
As this blog evolves, I hope to have regular, reliable, local contributors who really know their stuff! Their bios will be added here. (If you think you fit the bill, contact me through the Contact Us page.)
