George Edmund Burke
July 17, 1948 – July 10, 2016

George Edmund Burke, 67, of Florissant, CO passed unexpectedly on July 10, 2016.

George was the eldest of thirteen children. His parents George and Dorthy preceded him in death.

George was a loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife of almost 36 years, Julianne and six children: George Jr., Michelle, Veronica, Jeremy, Thad and Eli. He was also blessed with sixteen grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He loved to camp, fish and hunt, especially in Taylor Park, CO, his all-time favorite vacation spot.

He loved NASCAR racing and the great outdoors, and most of all loved his family and friends.

Services will be held on July 23, 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Wildwood, 10585 Ute Pass Avenue, in Green Mountain Falls. All are welcome to attend. A Celebration of Life will follow at Crystola Bar and Grill immediately following the services.

  1. I am heartsick for your family’s deep loss… I was flooded with some wonderfully funny and great memories of the times I spent with you and George, the boys and, I think, MOST of
    Ute Pass at the softball games, camping at Longwater, BBQ’s, Siver Tongue Devil, Crystola, your place…..Those memories made me smile and laugh to remember how much fun we ALL had together❤️
    He will be missed ~
